- Os germânicos Majesty vão editar o novo disco de originais, «Legends», no dia 28 de junho através da Napalm Records.
Este é o 9º disco de estúdio da banda e sucede a «Rebels», editado em 2017.

- Os britânicos Memoriam continuam imparavéis no lançamento de discos. Um ano depois de «The Silent Vigil», chega no dia 21 de junho o terceiro disco de originais, «Requiem For Mankind», através da Nuclear Blast Records.
O novo trabalho foi produzido novamente por Russ Russell e a capa esteve a cargo de Dan Seagrave.
Sobre o novo disco a banda disse: "Well here we are with our 3rd album "Requiem For Mankind". On our previous albums we have experimented with different musical and vocal styles which have finally got us to the here and now with what we think is the definitive Memoriam album. It's Death Metal, it's all we know, it feels like the previous albums were a build up to this one. We finally have all the right ingredients in one place. - Os suecos SABATON vão editar o novo disco de estúdio, «The Great War», no dia 19 de julho através da Nuclear Blast Records.
O novo trabalho conta as histórias da primeira grande guerra e a banda começou a trabalhar no disco exactamente 100 anos após o final da primeira guerra mundial.
A banda voltou a trabalhar com Jonas Kjellgren nos Black Lounge Studios e foi masterizado por Maor Appelbaum.

- É já no próximo dia 12 de maio que o Morbid Fest chega a Lisboa e têm como cabeças de cartaz os I Am Morbid de David Vincent. Há entrevista com o lendário vocalista dos Morbid Angel para ouvir, ele que nos conta tudo sobre o que esperar do concerto em lisboa e fala também da importância de sonhos para as suas letras.
Para além dos clássicos dos Morbid Angel, recordamos também temas de Atrocity, Vital Remains e ainda o novo tema dos Possessed.
- O guitarrista Paul Gilbert vai editar novo álbum a solo no dia 17 de maio através da Mascot Label Group. O novo disco «Behold Electric Guitar» conta com a participação do baterista Brian Foxworth, do teclista Asher Fulero, do baixista Roland Guerin e contou a produção de John Cunibert.
Sobre o disco, Paul Gilbert afirmou: "I finally wrote a song with long guitar solos! It took me decades to stretch beyond my pop song structure habits, and it feels great to be FREE, and just play, and play, and play. The song still has melodies and themes, and those were inspired by the idea that when you have something good... You still want MORE. Havin' it... don't make me stop wantin' it!"
